Defending The Westcoast And Central Nevada From Axis Forces Since 2005

We are a living history group based in Southern California who portray the 2nd Company of the 1st Battalion of the 13th Demi Brigade of the French Foreign Legion in World War Two. The 13th was the only Legion unit to remain a Free French unit throughout the war, never serving under the Vichy regime, and at one time comprising nearly half of the entire Free French Forces. We are a member of the World War Two Research and Preservation Society, and attend a variety of events across California and Nevada. Our members are dedicated to authenticity, and studying the history of the French Foreign Legion in the Second World War. Many of us have had years experience in living history, portraying a variety of impressions, as well as collecting military antiques. Please feel free to tour the site, and view the information presented. If you are interested in contacting the unit, or have any questions, please contact the webmaster or unit commanders, listed on the "13th DBLE Outreach" page on the navigation bar at the top.
